KYC (Know Your Customer) laws have been pushed more and more lately, making it so people can’t buy things with plausible deniability. It appears that KYC is coming to websites / netizens.
We could go on and on about how this is part of a larger scheme to make the Internet worse, to make life worse, to make everything feel that much more hopeless. We can see a history of the power being taken away from the people (gamers) all the way back to when Tom took away the ability for goth girls to edit the most sick custom MySpace pages. This isn’t required here but it is very tactical and intentional by our adversaries.
